Sometimes, a newly created file/folder is not displayed in the sidebar nav after creating them. When attempting to recreate the file/folder, you receive a warning that it already exist. A hard refresh or using the go-up and reselect folder action will usually be needed to see the new files/folders.

Now if you did not refresh the browser and open the file from the sidenav, you will see an editor with no rulers.

To see this problem you need to perform an action on the sidebar nav that empties it:

Exact steps
1. Use the sidebar nav to drill into a folder
2. If the folder is empty, create a file and delete it.
If the folder is not empty, just delete everything in it.
3. Now you see the "Use the [+]" message again
4. Use New Folder or New File -- no refresh

+1 - goes in if we do another build.
