Created attachment 232424 [details] Connection and Launch buttons are active - why ? Hello dear Eclipse buddies, I have spotted some strange defaults for the Java EE perspective, since Eclipse Juno SR 1. I have just downloaded the Java EE developers distribution of Eclipse, and was able to reproduce the issue. When I go to the Java EE perspective, on the major toolbar I see two icons/buttons enabled: the one which represents an active connection, and the one which represents a running launch configuration. You can check the attached screenshots for more details. The problem is observed every time I restart the IDE -> it looks to me like some problem with the generic perspective settings of the Java EE perspective. Clicking right button -> "Reset" on the perspective does not clear the two enabled buttons/icons. Only pressing one of them clears them out. When I press any on of them I get an information dialog message with the text of "The chosen operation is not enabled." which confirms that there isn't any back-end operation running (connection/launch configuration). I believe that those icons should not be enabled by default. Of course, this is just trivial, but already pisses me off :) Best Regards, Krum.
