Description ArronM CLA 2013-06-07 12:49:06 EDT
Due to a change in Ubuntu 13.04, SWT no longer displays the tray icon. Unity has switched to using AppIndicator to create Application Indicators. See http://unity.ubuntu.com/projects/appindicators/

This is a popular feature request for Vuze (currently 211 votes) http://vote.vuze.com/forums/170588-general/suggestions/3913405-implement-the-appindicator-for-unity-systems-sinc

SWT is currently pretty limited on development resources so please consider contributing it yourself or lobby amongst Ubuntu developers to contribute it.

Unity is no longer supported by Ubuntu as of 18.04.
