Update: the original URL still has the mentioned problem. Tweaking the URL to http://eclipse.org/projects/tools/ provides a workaround. This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie. Now, this is interesting: While I was already logged into Eclipse.org, the link works. Next, I logged out. Clicked again, saw similar symptoms as in comment 0: - first attempt gives 404, - after login every attempt to follow the link takes me to https://www.eclipse.org/projects/tools/LOGINPAGE?takemeback=https://www.eclipse.org/projects/tools/ip_contribution_review.php and we're back at 404. This includes navigation via http://eclipse.org/projects/tools/ so the workaround from comment 1 is now broken, too. Tomorrow it will probably work again ? (In reply to Stephan Herrmann from comment #3) > Tomorrow it will probably work again ? Yes. So, when already logged into Eclipse.org, the link works. When you follow the link while not logged in, it will take you to a 404. Even if you log in at this point, the information is persistent such that attempts to follow the link will 404, despite being logged in -- until s.t. times out. We've reworked the authentication implementation. With that in mind, and that I can't replicate the problem, I'm going to declare victory. Reopen if you're still having trouble. |
