Description Marc Gille-Sepehri CLA 2013-04-22 04:05:12 EDT
I looked at some bugzilla entries and it seems that it is centrally managed. Please confirm, then I file requests for necessary changes.

I can certainly make the required changes for you.

However if you login to the portal (https://dev.eclipse.org/portal/myfoundation/portal/portal.php) with your committer credentials and then navigate to Eclipse Projects -> tools for all committers -> manage bugzilla targets, versions and milestones then you should be able to make most of the changes you're after.

Happy to make the changes. I must be blind. I am logged in with my committer account, went to

http://www.eclipse.org/projects/

There is an entry Project Tools which leads me to a page with a menu structure like

Project Tools >>
Project Status
SCM Countdown
IP >>
IP Log Generator
Contribution Review
CQ Overview
Downloads Report
Lifecycle >>
Proposals

At this time the bugzilla tooling hasn't been ported to the PMI (www.eclipse.org/projects).

You'l need to login here: https://dev.eclipse.org/portal/myfoundation/portal/portal.php and then: find the Eclipse Projects widget -> tools for all committers -> manage bugzilla targets, versions and milestones.

I really must be blind. I am following your instructions and only getting the attached screen. I tried multiple times with empty browser cache and relogin, Bugzilla and Committer account and still only see the attached.

Ok why don't you add the changes you need made here and I'll get things set up.

(In reply to comment #4)

As I noted in comment #3 the bugzilla management tools haven't been ported to the project management pages under www.eclipse.org/projects.

Is the issue that I'm starting the instructions with 'navigate to Eclipse Projects' and you're entering www.eclipse.org/projects in the url bar?

Once you've logged in to the portal (https://dev.eclipse.org/portal/myfoundation/portal/portal.php) with your committer credentials(not your email address), on the portal landing page scroll down till you see a text box titled 'Eclipse Projects' it should have a list of the projects you are on. At the bottom of that list should be a link 'tools for all committers' click on that, then click the 'manage bugzilla targets versions and milestones' link and you should be all set.

Thanks, got it now. Problem was nor the URL (I used yours) nor the login, but me clicking on Projects in the menu and not scrolling down.

Apologies for being slow.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
