Description Ronan Bar CLA 2013-04-04 11:58:43 EDT
When using the "Apply Profile" option I see too many files in the left hand box. Why should I enter a filter? The box should only show files which are profiles. I know for sure from experience that the .di and .notation will never work.

New users get overwhelmed by this kind of thing. It is very important to reduce the number of options automatically.

I think this is related to:

Bug 399869: [Widgets] Papyrus shall implement extension filters on the “import…” UI

Once these extension filters are available, we can set the default "*.profile.uml" filter for the Apply Profile dialog, and .uml for other "Import package" dialogs.

Bug 399869 is probably not precise enough, but that's basically what was planned. I still mark this task as a subtask of Bug 399869.
