Current shell appears on its own tab. This is fine but I was hoping for a way to just pull it up from my editor on-demand without navigating between windows/tabs.

The idea is to map some shortcut to pull up the shell in either a new frame/view on the bottom of the page, or perhaps even in some content pane.

My preference for the shortcut would be
Mac: "Cmd + ;"
Linux/Win: "Control + ;"

The Shell itself is isolated and can be integrated anywhere, the Shell page just happens to its only client in Orion ATM. A client provides the Shell with the input and output elements to use and the rest is taken care of (note that functionality like the orion.shell.command service is implemented as part of Orion's Shell page, it's not part of the base Shell component).
