I use large fonts and preferences dialog is always to narrow.  I can widen it, 
but the new size is not remembered.  Also, the tree view on the left is too 
narrow with large fonts and many of items are too long to read.  There is no 
splitter to adjust the size so I have to constantly use the horizontal scroll 
bar to figure out what's what.  Even with the splitter, the position I specify 
should be remembered.

All preference pages are fit into the minimum required space without getting 
cut off in 1152x864 with large fonts.

If there is a page that it cut off in this mode please log a problem report to 
the appropriate component.
