In the Tycho project, we would like to keep the list of open changes clean, so that it is easy to see which contributions still need to be considered.

Therefore we would like to have the permission to abandon changes when they become obsolete. In the concrete example that I am thinking of [1], the bug has been solved in a different way than the one originally proposed by a contributor.

@Gerrit admins: For the three Tycho repositories listen in Gerrit, please add the following permission:
* Reference: refs/heads/*
* Privilege: Abandon
* Allow to group ldap/technology.tycho
