The themefixes branch included this bug fix and some other theme-related style changes. To keep things under control, we split it up into 2 separate branches:
 themefixes2 (just the hit zones fix -- this bug)
 themefixes3 (other theme changes)

I approved themefixes2. Anton is opening another bug for themefixes3.
