Description Thomas Reisenbichler CLA 2013-02-06 07:20:23 EST
When a user adds a library twice to the build path, a warning should be displayed, that the library is already referenced in the project's build path.

Problem is, that the library could have different versions and the developer doesn't know what library was taken for his build.

I agree this will be nice feature to have. But the JDT/Core team is currently running a tight schedule and I doubt we can accommodate this for Kepler.

If someone is interested in posting a patch, you are welcome, though.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
