I've been meaning to report this for awhile now.
On Chrome (and probably others), when I got to commit something, the slideout pushes the staged list horizontally so that it disappears from the page. It used to remain fixed underneath the slideout.

If you aren't looking at the list you might not notice, because the dark slideout captures your eye.

I thought at first that the list was gone, but recently when the git status page content was (accidentally) too narrow, I noticed that the staged list was showing on the right.

I'm guessing that we're missing a clear:both somewhere.

This is unrelated to the dijit changes. I first noticed it before I made my editor commit (because I was afraid I had done something). I remembered it happened around the time two things happened:
1 - settings gear appeared on the editor page
2 - John changed the minimum width of the page.

My gut tells me it's the width setting but I'm not sure.
It could also be related to bug 397890, something in settings could have inadvertently affected git.

I don't know if this is helpful detail, but we need to look at it.

Szymon, could you look first?
