The jdt.core.binaries bundle needs a manifest version boost too, since the pom.xml file was changed.

I have pushed the jdt.core manifest changes.

Dani, please let me know if I should bother with the binaries bundle version upgrade.

What changed exactly in the pom.xml?

pom and manifest version must match, so yes, you have to update the pom.xml at least for 'org.eclipse.jdt.core' which you changed.

And we must also change it in 
/org.eclipse.jdt.core/batch/org/eclipse/jdt/internal/compiler/batch/messages.properties

Upgraded the version in the manifest and the batch compiler properties for jdt.core plugin. Will be updating the pom.xml via bug 396084.
