The welcome page's samples feature uses viewcvs to get a p2 repository to install the samples.  Now any viewcvs requests are redirected to git.eclipse.org.

This is what we call:
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/%7Echeckout%7E/pde-ui-home/samples/

We are discussing other solutions, but why is viewcvs always redirecting?  Besides it breaking the samples, I can see it being useful to access the read only cvs data online.

We set viewcvs to redirect to git when CVS was shutdown on Dec 21st.
