Does it work to go to the Shell page and "cd ..." around the remote file system? Just trying to determine if this is a problem with "Open in Shell" or with the Shell page's handling of your remote file system in general. cd.. does not work at all fro remote fs. Grant, can we put it on the 2.0M2 list? I've tried this with the HTML 5 Local Filesystem (it's not a remote fs, but has a similar naming structure), and it works fine. There have been extensive changes in the Shell page, though none specifically aimed at this issue. Can you confirm whether this problem still happens for your case, and if so, provide some details on how to set up and replicate your case? Closing as part of a mass clean up of inactive bugs.
