Comment 4 Wayne Beaton CLA 2012-12-07 13:54:08 EST
Can I safely assume that Hudson will leave incubation with this release and become a "regular" project?
Comment 5 Wayne Beaton CLA 2012-12-07 13:55:08 EST
Review is scheduled to conclude on 12-12-12.
Comment 6 Winston Prakash CLA 2012-12-07 14:45:45 EST

Yes that is a safe assumption. Our QA has certified the core to

- Seamless upgrade from 2.x jobs to 3.0.0
- Automatic migration of 2.x configurations to 3.0.0

Additionally

- Top 50 plugins are tested exhaustively and certified to work with 3.0.0
- Next ~400 plugins are verified to load and work with out any exception

We provide bootstrap update path to update all installed plugins to automatically update to work with Hudson 3.0.0.

I've declared your review successful. You may continue with your release.

With this release, the project graduates into the "regular" or mature project phase. Please remove the incubation logo from the project website.

Also, be advised that the way parallel IP works is slightly different for a regular project. There is no parallel IP for contributions or general third-party libraries. For a regular project, parallel IP only applies for updates to existing third-party libraries.

Marking as FIXED.
