Description Edvin Syse CLA 2012-11-21 04:29:56 EST
Ctrl-W in IE and Firefox closes the active editor tab, but in Chrome, the browser tab is closed instead. It seems that Ctrl-W isn't overridden when running RAP in Chrome. I've seen the same behavior in Chrome for Windows and Linux.

It's reproducible with Workbench Demo and opened editor. I remember that Chrome has some key combinations that can't be suppressed. Tim, what do you think?
Comment 2 Ivan Furnadjiev CLA 2013-11-07 06:44:27 EST
After searching the web it seems that there are some key combinations (shortcuts) that can't be suppressed (without dirty hack on the OS level). Ctrl+W in Chrome is one of them. I will close this bug as NOT_ECLIPSE. Please reopen if you disagree.
