I routinely create sites to host plugins that are under development and constantly get tripped up by the subdirectory created for me by "view on site."

For example I created a site "googlepicker-site" for my plugin's directory and expected to install this plugin:

http://googlepicker-site.orion.eclipse.org:8080/index.html

but instead the index.html is mounted at

http://googlepicker-site.orion.eclipse.org:8080/googlepicker-site
