Description Wayne Beaton CLA 2012-11-06 11:06:06 EST
The modeling project is restructuring. There are some terminations involved as well.
Comment 1 Wayne Beaton CLA 2012-11-06 11:07:00 EST
Scheduled for November 14/2012.
Comment 2 Wayne Beaton CLA 2012-11-06 11:10:52 EST
I'm probably stating the obvious, but let's start with the terminations once this review is complete.

The review is successful. You may carry out your restructuring.

As I suggested in comment 2, I recommend that we start with the leaf project terminations. It's probably easier if we create a single bug for each that details the activities that need to be undertaken (i.e. archive the code/website, archive bugzilla, archive ipzilla, remove builds, etc.).

After that we can create individual bugs to describe each of the project moves. Again, we'll need to capture the activities that need to be undertaken (move repositories, websites, bugzilla records, ipzilla records, etc.). I'll look at each of these on a case-by-case basis: in some cases we may be able to just move the project records; in others, we may have to request an NPPR.

The last step will be to terminate the container projects.

I can help. Do you want me to start on the terminations (they're easier for me to do as I don't need to understand your intent like I do for moves)?

In each case, we'll need to copy webmaster and sharon.corbett@eclipse.org as we'll need their help to make it happen.
Comment 4 Sharon Corbett CLA 2013-04-24 11:16:34 EDT
For terminations, there really is no effort in IPzilla to perform...

Thanks,
Sharon

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

Done long ago.

Not really. Many of the tasks described by the original plan have not been completed. But, frankly, if the PMC thinks that we're done, I'm not in a mood to argue.
