Created attachment 222047 [details] The app with the bug. If you select a child node of a treeviewer and collapse the parent node without changing selection, then the selection is not visible if you select the same element by code again. In the bug.app. you can test it by clicking the huge button, then collapsing the parent and then clicking the button again. The selection will be revealed but not shown.
