Description
Mickael Istria
Mickael, I am not a usability expert, but I think widening the comments would make them much more difficult to read on wide screens. On the other hand, this is the type of change that you can make on your own with the help of local CSS overrides if you prefer it. Or you can use greasemonkey, like the JDT guys do: http://www.eclipse.org/jdt/ui/dev.php#scripts (In reply to comment #1) > Mickael, I am not a usability expert, but I think widening the comments > would make them much more difficult to read on wide screens. I'm not a usability expert neither, but I think the contrary ;) Do you know with ergonomics knowledge someone we could ask for opinion? However, this is just a suggestion, if you want to mark this report as WONTFIX, please do so. > On the other hand, this is the type of change that you can make on your own > with the help of local CSS overrides if you prefer it. Now I know how to widen comment locally, I can do it when necessary (mainly when there is code) using Firebug), Opened bug to Bugzilla on this topic: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=968889 This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie. Ok after 6ish years I'll close this as wontfix. -M. |
