Description Mickael Istria CLA 2012-10-05 06:23:46 EDT
I noticed that when reading comments on Bugzilla, they are always on the lest of the screen, and don't even take half of page width. I makes them more difficult to read, especially when there are some long code snippet which are split on several lines.

It would be cool to get this wider.
Changing style for CSS class ".bz_comment_text" to with:100% seems to work

Mickael, I am not a usability expert, but I think widening the comments would make them much more difficult to read on wide screens.

On the other hand, this is the type of change that you can make on your own with the help of local CSS overrides if you prefer it. Or you can use greasemonkey, like the JDT guys do:

I'm not a usability expert neither, but I think the contrary ;) Do you know with ergonomics knowledge someone we could ask for opinion?

However, this is just a suggestion, if you want to mark this report as WONTFIX, please do so.

Thanks.
Now I know how to widen comment locally, I can do it when necessary (mainly when there is code) using Firebug),

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
