Description Aaron Digulla CLA 2012-10-04 04:22:53 EDT
The documentation (http://wiki.eclipse.org/Getting_started_with_CDO_Helios) says "Download the H2 driver from http://net4j.sourceforge.net/update" but there is no H2 driver there.

I tried the HSQLDB driver instead but the Net4j adapter wants >= 2.0.0 but the sourceforge update site only offers 1.8.0.

That wiki page is community-authored and not the authoritative source for CDO.

The H2 JDBC driver is taken from Orbit's p2 repositories and redistributed by CDO. No need to add an additional p2 repository for this particular one.

We're going to phase out http://net4j.sourceforge.net/update in favour of the fresher http://www.elver.org/eclipse/2.0.0/update

The authoritative source for CDO's dependencies are listed in the bookmarks.xml per drop on the downloads page, e.g., http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/cdo/drops/S20121002-0801/bookmarks.xml

I improved the links at the bottom of http://wiki.eclipse.org/Getting_started_with_CDO_Helios#Set_Up_the_Environment but I'm not really happy because they will get outdated pretty soon.

Maybe someone with more experience how download.eclipse.org works can improve them.
