If you have already picked a non-Orion editor theme, then go to UI Theme and pick Orion and apply, the editor theme switches to Orion as well.  However, it's not really applied so it's not really the theme.

This one has been fixed with the changes for bug#401914.  We now save the selected theme separately in the preferences. One for the UI Theme and one for the Editor Theme.
