As a enhancement to the bug #258911, we consider to provide the source code jar for runtime on the maven repo.

Hi,

nice to see further improvements are being considered. While you're at source code jar, could you provide also javadoc jar, please?

Both source and javadoc artifacts are present in current 3.7.1 and 4.2.0 releases, but only in form of empty placeholders.

The javadoc is available from http://help.eclipse.org/juno/index.jsp

Please check with the latest 4.2.1a release version. The source bundles are provided for the birt.runtime.

Yep, i confirm 4.2.1a source artifact works as expected (tested in Eclipse). Good work, thanks.
