In Eclipse 3.0 M1, source tool tips in the Java editor are shown with the
source colored according to the syntax highlighting settings. However, for
preferences where the editor background color is dark (e.g. blue or black) and
the foreground color is light (e.g. white), the source tool tips disregards the
dark background color. The result is that I get a white on yellow source
display, which is quite unreadable.

Seven milestones later (as of M8), this is still a problem that needs to be
fixed for those who use light font colors for source code in the editor.

Would really appreciate a fix for this bug. The source hover in its current
state isn't usable for me...

I'm closing this one as a newer bug which is marked 3.1.
