Recently, Eclipse started using the hideous "Sans" font to display the names of the files in the bar of tabs. See the screenshot.

Which build id?

Not sure why the font changed. Unfortunately you can't change it back yourself due to bug 355946.

http://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse4/CSS shows how to edit the CSS to work around this.

By default it has .MPartStack entries that either include font-size, or font-size/font-family like:

.MPartStack {
        font-size: 9;
        font-family: 'Segoe UI';
......

What was the workaround you had to use?

I had used E4 to edit the CSS, then uninstalled it after I was content with the changes.
