Description Stephan Herrmann CLA 2012-08-10 10:22:55 EDT
Bug 381567 changed the generated file readableNames.props, why?

This change removed the copyright notice in that file which looks wrong to me.

Mea culpa. The underlying problem is that the (non-public) parser
generator tools discard the copyright. This is a pain in the wrong
place.

I'll fix this once M1 sails out. Thanks for spotting this.

Didn't Jesper come up with a Java main for invoking the parser generator and invoking post processing?

Otherwise I might contribute (and improve) the corresponding shell scripts from the Object Teams project.

I think it would be good to have a simple tool that's publicly available for all contributors.

Thanks!

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
