This is follow-on work deriving from bug 359240.

Not that the repos are in git ... and they have been renamed ... and branches will now be used year-to-year .... there's a fair amount of documentation to update.

I'm opening this bug since it is separate work from original bug, but will provide good reminder for me to do it, outline what to do, and summarize changes.

I've updated using this page as starting point:

http://wiki.eclipse.org/Juno/Contributing_to_Juno_Build

But then renamed/moved (via wiki function, to handle redirects) to

http://wiki.eclipse.org/Simrel/Contributing_to_Simrel_Aggregation_Build

I think its generic/constant enough that it doesn't need many changes year to year, so best under "Simrel" folder.

Each year will take a few edits to add to new categories or update reasonable "example names" but no substantial changes.

Only other wiki pages I could find to update were

http://wiki.eclipse.org/SimRel/Simultaneous_Release_Reports_FAQ#Common_Software_Repository_Reports

http://wiki.eclipse.org/SimRel/Simultaneous_Release_Reports_Running_Locally

where only minor changes required.

So, I'm sure I missed a spot or two, but should be pretty close.
