This bug is to track what it takes to get the root.* properties working in rcp.config/build.properties.

I released a fix for org.eclipse.rcp/build.properties

The root= is no longer relative to org.eclipse.platform.

Can this bug be closed then? I don't understand the bug summary so it's hard to know if this is already fixed.

We have a workaround that works for us so I think this can be closed in our case. Setting to resolved, if anyone thinks it should be left open please reopen and provide details.
