Description Tobias Melcher CLA 2012-07-19 11:14:01 EDT
Build Identifier: Version: 4.2.0 Build id: I20120608-1400

Steps to reproduce:
1. create a simple project
2. create a file
3. modify the content of the file
4. open a second editor for the same file via Window->New Editor
5. close dirty editor by triggering CTRL-F4 -> nice save popup appears with message "... has been modified, but is still open elsewhere with identical changes. Closing this will not lose those changes ..."
6. do the same steps again and close the editor by clicking the X button on the editor tab. Different save popup appears containing different message than in 5.

It would be nice if the save popup on editor close could have the same message indepent how the editor is closed (by CTRL-F4 or by pressing X button).

Reproducible: Always

One year later and the bug is still there (now in Kepler).
I am disappointed.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
