It would be nice to be able to logically group a set of two or more Views and
treat the group as one logical View. I'm thinking of something like what you get
with good image editing apps, where you can select any number of objects on the
canvas, Group them, and then do things to the group as if it were one object.
Grouping views would let the user do things like make the group a FastView, add
the Group to a tabbed collection of views as one tab, etc. It would make certain
layouts possible that are not possible to achieve with the current flexible
layout architecture.

This will not be address for 3.0  Maybe someone in the community would like to 
try this out. If so, please annotate the bug report and post a message in the 
platform-ui-dev mailing list.
