I opened two strings.xml files of my Android project for editing (one for Hungarian, one for German), then I tried to paste an ellipses char with Ctrl+V into the Hungarian language file. At first it seemed that nothing happened. But it turns out the ellipses character got pasted into the German file at caret location, which file was not in foreground. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the files had the same name.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open two settings.xml files
2. try to paste an ellipses char into one of them
3. it sometimes gets pasted into the other one
