Build Identifier: 20120606-2254

- open Synchronization perspective
- Synchronize View should show several files that have local changes (I am using CVS here if it matters)
- open History View and activate "Link with editor and selection"
- double click one of the files with local changes (should open the compare editor, but the bug also occurs when you open one of the files in a normal text editor)
=> History View fills with history of file in the compare editor (fine, we expected this)
- now select in the Synchronize View another file (only one mouse click do not open it!)
=> History View fills with history of the newly selected file (fine, we expected this)
- now click into the History View
=> History View fills with history of file in the compare editor
BAD!! We should still see the history of the file selected in the Synchronize View! At least this was the case until my upgrade to Eclipse 4.2 (this worked correctly at least since Eclipse 3.1)

Reproducible: Always

Anybody working on this?

The bug is not limited to the Synchronization View. Same buggy behavior for Project Explorer.
