This just happened to me

1. Went to Settings > User Profile
2. Made a change, clicked 'Update'
3. In the Firefox network panel, I see the request errored out:

PUT http://orionhub.org/users/mamacdon@gmail.com
> HTTP/1.1 500 Server Error

However, the UI does not give any indication of the error.
