Steps:
1) Go to nav and click Clone Git Repository
2) Git Repo page is open with slideout
3) Enter Git repo URL and Submit
4) When cloning is done, the slidout does not disappear

I suspect the slideout is coming back because we're calling "processURL" again somewhere.  Just a guess.

Indeed. Related to the fix for Bug 363960.

Although it's not strictly a duplicate, the bugs are strongly connected and the fix of bug 389083 should solve this bug.
