I've noticed lately that I'm more likely to "miss" an error annotation on the editor page.  It seems to take longer to validate after save than it used to.  The workflow is:
- I'll make some changes
- Save the file
- Pause, I don't see errors
- Go run the self hosted site
- Something is broken, obvious syntax error or whatever...
- Go back to the editor and see a syntax error.

I was wondering if our NLS string validation was slowing down the error validation in any way.  Could we put up the annotations progressively and give priority to jslint?

I didn't see anything major -- moving to 1.0 for now as I want to think about save actions in the context of formatting, code quality, i18n etc.
