Steps:
1) Have Orion running locally
2) Start a site on it
3) Start a site on orion.eclipse.org
4) Plug in the sitePlugin from orion.eclipse.org into you local Orion
5) Logout from both orion.eclipse.org and local Orion
6) go to /sites/sites.html on your local Orion
7) Log in and the page will be refreshed
8) You are again prompted to log in to local Orion
9) Log in and nothing happens
10) Refresh the page and you go to 8) again

In this case credentials for remote sitePlugin on orion.eclipse.org are needed. So Orion should prompt for orion.eclipse.org credentials as it used to be. If I go to orion.eclipse.org and log in there and then refresh my local Orion page, it starts to work correctly i.e. the sites page shows both local and remote sites.
