Settings.css defines some standard styling for certain field types:

input, textarea, select

I noticed these were affecting the presentation of the slideouts on the git pages. The field widths were not what I expected, and in some cases it had particularly bad looking results (such as checkboxes that were sized at 200 px).

I'm not sure how to fix the leak. It makes sense that settings pages would want to have a distinct look for setting the various field values. So maybe the repo pages shouldn't be using settings.css. Either that, or there needs to be more specificity when styling the page.

For now I overwrote the particularly bad looking styles in the slideout classes, but this is how we end up with a mess of overspecified styles and messy CSS.
