Screen shot of text being on left instead of right
Any progress here? This has b een in the new state for almost 6 months. Is this fixed in Eclipse 4.2.x? I just tried plain 3.6.2: http://archive.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops/R-3.6.2-201102101200/ and 4.2.1: http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops4/R-4.2.1-201209141800/ 1. download one of the two builds 2. start new workspace with -dir rtl ==> all text is on the right. The screen shot added clearly shows Windows platform. This is a linux bug. And to clarify, it does indeed work on Windows. When this bug was opened we also discovered that it only applied to Linux. We saw it on RedHat. I am sure its not specific to Redhat. But it is a bug that doesn't apply to Windows. (In reply to comment #6) > The screen shot added clearly shows Windows platform. This is a linux bug. Yes, I only tested on Windows. So this looks like an SWT bug then. Still reproducible on 4.8 M7, GTK3.22, Fedora 28. This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie. |
