I guess the issue is this is now a grid and left/right are used to navigate between cells. I agree that left/right to expand/collapse trees was much nicer and consistent with native keyboard tree behaviour (at least on Windows). Can we do something like: - if there is a true grid (more than just a twistie and a link)...then right arrow and left arrow navigates as is, and ctrl-Right/ctrl-left will operate the twisties. - if there is only a twistie and a link (no grid) then left and right should operate the twisties Part of the problem right now is that nav was a grid (it had the chevron menu that had to be cursored to) when he put the model in. I have since pulled out the chevron menu. So there's really no reason to act like a grid in the nav case. |
