Hi,

most of the time when I start eclipse, come the dialog "Operation in
progress..." and stands still. I do kill all the eclipse process and start 
again. But the problem continued. I do kill eclipse up to 10 as it's start 
and I can work. I have the problem most of the time.
I use a gentoo linux with a blackdown jdk 1.4.1_02. I have the some problem 
with  sun jdk 1.4.1_02. 

What's wrong?

If this happens again, you can capture a VM stack dump using kill -3 or kill -s
SIGQUIT on linux.  Attach the stack dump so we can find out where it is hanging.
