Description David Williams CLA 2012-04-22 03:04:47 EDT
Maybe this will have fixed itself by the time you read this bug ... but, I'm (starting) to try and run the platform unit tests that Kim left for me ... I started with the windows-only ones, but don't get too far.

cvs checkout: dying gasps from dev.eclipse.org unexpected
FATAL: CVS failed. exit code=1

I thought I'd be "cleaver" and use ":local:" instead, but that seemed even worse ... I'm thinking that is simply a limitation of the "windows 7" machine?
That is, that it is not part of the NFS file system?

Comment 1 David Williams CLA 2012-04-22 03:41:06 EDT
The worst problem, probably, is that Hudson itself is not usable because it takes too long to switch views, etc. .... dozens of minutes, if then, for just about any sort of simple click.

If it was me, I'd reboot it :) ... but, maybe you know/can see something more precise to do?

Seems better today ... guess the system is maybe busy at 3 AM? ... or, its' just Hudson's way of telling me to take a break? :)
