Description Jim des Rivieres CLA 2003-05-15 10:52:55 EDT
Improve text editor typing. The set of key actions available in the text
editor should be enriched with additional common operations like insert line,
duplicate line, transpose, and convert to uppercase. The current JDT editor
support for templates with variables should be generalized and pushed down so
that it is available in all text editors. [Platform Text, JDT UI] [Theme: User
experience]

I'd also like to see multiple clipboard buffers added. This feature would give
access to the last X number of items cut/copied to the clipboard.
Comment 2 John-Mason P. Shackelford CLA 2004-01-31 16:44:57 EST
This is (in part) a duplicate of bug 11020.
Comment 3 Tom Hofmann CLA 2004-02-02 18:08:49 EST
correct - everthing else (insert line, duplicate line, transpose and cas
conversion) is already there. Closing, the discussion around the push down of
templates is continued in bug 11020.
