I was trying out the new auto-save feature on the Sites page, and found it too subtle. Without paying careful attention to the little asterisk in the title I wouldn't know what is happening. Some suggestions:

 - Get rid of the Save button. Auto-saving page typically don't also need a save button (think google docs). Seeing the Save button makes me think I need to push it.
 - Add an "Auto saved" message when save occurs. Maybe this would be too noisy with the way our progress messages appear (status message with timeout).

Will look at removing the Save button for RC1...

This patch removes the explicit 'save' command.

Adding Susan for review. Susan, the interval between auto-saves is 8 seconds, does this feel too long to you?
