In Firefox or IE:

1. Have focus on the editor. 
2. Right click somewhere else on the text (you need to hold it down for maybe a quarter second, a quick click doesn't work).
3. The caret appears to move (note that if you right click past the end of the line, the caret appears to be one character past the end on the line). 
4. Press down (or any arrow key). The caret moves from it's original position.
