I 'd like to propose to enhance the Artifacts section of the build editor with a button or menu to donwload all or a selection of the shown artefacts.

There is another request (bug 324700) related to downloading artifacts. Not sure how these would relate.

Thanks for the request. This would indeed be a valuable feature addition. 

I believe bug 324700 is related to providing automatic caching of artifacts and this bug would be a pre-requisite to implementing that functionality.

I am entirely unaware of internals of the build connector infrastructure. However, wouldn't it also be possible to just download the artefacts when requested by the user?
