One scenario that I'd really like to understand, and a scenario that I think many others would gain value from is what I'll call the 'Wordpress Scenario'.

http://wordpress.org/download/

WordPress has a 'famous five minute install'. It is very easy to set up, and then access. Going to website/wp-admin opens up the blogging software - to edit blogs, change themes, install plugins.

I'd really like to be able to go to my website/orion and see the navigator open at the website root - to be able to open the various files and edit them. That would be amazing - no FTP needed. It would need a preview mode, and also a good story around version control ( which I think WP lacks, unless I'm missing something ).

I'm not sure if this was an intended deployment scenario, but I think it would be a really useful one. I'm not sure how best to achieve it. Maybe it is possible today, and minimally this bug is asking for a good description of how to do it.

How can we make it as simple as WordPress's famous five minute install?
