As Szymon mentioned in bug 373099 comment 8, we need the stageMultipleFiles function in gitClient.js to handle the relative path.
The current issue is addressed in bug 373099 comment4. The fix is using .Name from the status API but ideally it should use .Path.
As Szymon suggested , we should assume that .Path always returns the absolute path and an additional attribute .RelativePath to return the relative path as currently .Path does.
