works fine

I was able to clone:

https://code.google.com/r/johnjbarton-traceur/

Onto my orion.eclipse.org workspace

Unfortunately that URL is not the one I need to clone.

Ah, that URL does work with the so-called SSH password set to the Google Code value, thanks.

Tomek, isn't it a similar problem to Bug 368200. I have similar problems with repos on GitHub when using https:// urls.

I have a similar issue here with a repository behind https and a CACert.org SSL certificate, which is not in the official key stores. The repository is also protected with username/password. The error message of Orion is only "https://git.flupp.de/winery: cannot open git-upload-pack" - which lacks of details.
