As I remember when using RAP together with the workbench the user's customizations are saved and loaded when he returns to the Application. With customizations I mean the size of views/editors or the active perspective. It seems that this mechanism is currently broken.

Steps to reproduce: 
- Go to http://rap.eclipsesource.com/rapdemo/rap?startup=default
- Resize some views
- Open another perspective
- Reload -> The layout has not been saved

Holger, the online demo is still on M2. I can't reproduce it locally with current CVS HEAD. Could you try with CVS HEAD?

Ivan, let's check it when the updated demo is online. Maybe it's related to tomcat deployment or to file permissions on our demo server.

The online workbench demo is working for me without problems - layout is saved. I will close it as WORKSFORME.
